Liverpool Transfers: Ranking Brendan Rodgers's Signings From Worst To Best

8. Victor Moses

By far Liverpool's most underwhelming signing of the summer is Chelsea misfit Victor Moses. The 22-year-old has signed a 12-month loan deal with the Reds and will provide Brendan Rodgers with some width but he surely has better players in his squad than the ex-Wigan man. Moses' goal-ratio at Stamford Bridge was poor - one goal in 23 Premier League appearances for Chelsea following his £9 million move from the Latics over a year ago. The Nigerian was on the fringes in West London prior to this move, and hadn't featured once under new manager Jose Mourinho, so while his departure from the Blues makes sense, his arrival at Liverpool raises questions. It remains to be seen if the winger can revive his career at Anfield, but this deal was not one that got the pulses racing.
