Lucas Moura will be playing at Old Trafford tonight - but he isn't yet wearing the famous red jersey of Manchester United, despite claims a £30million deal has been reached with Sao Paulo for his services. Instead it is the yellow of Brazil he shall be donning, as Brazil take on South Korea in the men's semi-final of the Olympic Games. And if Paris Saint Germain get their way, this may well be the last time we see Moura grace the Theater of Dreams for some time to come. The Sun are reporting that the French outfit look set to make an audacious move to hijack the deal and bring the talented youngster to the Parc des Princes instead - and they certainly have the financial clout to achieve such a feat. Ever since the mega-rich Qatar Investment Authority bought the club in a deal worth 50m, PSG have emerged as the richest club in France and one of the richest clubs in the world - they were the biggest spenders in the world for the 201112 season. Managed by former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti, PSG are looking to improve on their second placed finish in Ligue 1 last season to claim only their third title in their history, and their first since 1994. Moura is deemed the exciting young talent to help achieve this ambition, though his agent Wagner Ribeiro was keen to stress that there is no deal yet in place for his client to join either club. Ribeiro remarked:
First they said Lucas was at Manchester United, now they say he belongs to PSG. Everyone is trying to build their story like a jigsaw puzzle.United boss Sir Alex Ferguson meanwhile is busy working behind the scenes to salvage the deal, as well as lure Robin van Persie away from Arsenal as he attempts to restrengthen his team to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League.
