Man Utd: 5 Huge Mistakes David Moyes Keeps Making

4. Continuing To Partner Rio Ferdinand & Nemanja Vidic

Any football fan in the country could tell you that Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic shouldn't be played together anymore. The two veterans were paired together in all four of United's games at the start of the season and you can virtually hear their knees creaking. Given their age and respective injury record, the two should be rotated alongside Jonny Evans, who enjoyed a good campaign last season but has scarcely played this term. Then there's Chris Smalling, who also hasn't been given much of a look in under David Moyes, but should be given time to forge a relationship with youngsters like Rafael, Evans and Phil Jones. Sticking with the old guard week-in-week-out isn't the way forward and Moyes has to realise this.
