4. He Will Always Be in Ronaldos Shadow
When Nani signed for the club, his Portugese teammate Ronaldo was shining in the number 7 shirt. Ronaldo was the man the fans loved, he would score goals, hit free kicks in all areas of the net, assist his teammates and would be a delight to watch. In 2009 when Ronaldo left to join Spanish giants Real Madrid, United fans turned to Nani to be the next Ronaldo. This pressure has never stopped. Nani is a completely different player, he isnt a Ronaldo hes a Nani. Expectation was extremely high when Ronaldo left; Nani was seen as the man to help United lift the trophy again. It still angers me to this day when a commentator will say another Ronaldo-like goal for Nani, it seems if he wants to be his own player he will have to leave the Premiership.
