Man Utd News: Red Devils To Offer Adnan Januzaj New Deal

Manchester United will offer Adnan Januzaj a new contract to avoid losing the wonder kid for nothing - just as they did with Paul Pogba - according to the Mirror. Januzaj came into the public eye on Saturday by scoring both goals in United's crucial 2-1 victory over Sunderland, but is out of contract at the end of this season. Both Manchester City and Juventus are known admirers of the 18-year-old sensation, and the champions are desperate to tie the Belgian down to a new contract to avoid seeing another of their brightest youngsters leave. Pogba left for nothing in the summer of 2012 to join Juve, after becoming disillusioned with his lack of first team opportunities at Old Trafford under manager Sir Alex Ferguson. And his successor, David Moyes, is keen to avoid a repeat scenario, and is a big admirer of Januzaj having handed him his first start for the Red Devils at the weekend. The Scot will do what it takes to keep the starlet out of rival's clutches and is expected to offer him a new, four-year deal worth around £50,000-a-week. Moyes hopes this will be enough to persuade Januzaj to commit his future to the Reds, and is keen to deliver some positive news after failing to bring in a series of new players over the summer.
