Man Utd Transfer News: Wilfried Talks In Talks Over Old Trafford Move

BBC. We reported earlier today that the Ivory Coast-born winger was set to join the Red Devils later this week. Sir Alex Ferguson has not joined his squad's trip to Qatar for four-days of warm weather training in the build-up to their FA Cup clash with Fulham at the weekend so that he could stay behind and finalise the deal for Zaha. It is understood that United would be willing to loan the player straight back to Crystal Palace for the remainder of the season should the deal go through as expected. The Premier League leaders appear to have won the race for Zaha despite interest from Arsenal as well as Palace taking a tough stance over their prized asset by insisting that he is not for sale. Palace are pushing for promotion to the Premier League this season and are reluctant to sell the player. However, United€™s willingness to loan Zaha back for the remainder of the season could see the deal go through for £12 million. Zaha dropped the heaviest hint yet that he could be moving to Old Trafford when he allegedly wrote on his Twitter page over a week ago:

€œLooks like I€™m on my way to the top of the Premier League.€
Indeed it does.
