Last transfer window, there was plenty of talk around various players that David Moyes would look to add to his Manchester United squad, but it was very much a case of plenty of talk, but not enough action at least not the type of action that ended with a positive result. One of those stories that never really materialized was the proposed deal to bring Leighton Baines in from Everton, which dominated the media for a good deal of the window. Meanwhile, for Manchester United, Patrice Evra is now 32, so you can understand the desire to secure a replacement, but they may have to look elsewhere.
