Quite how Van Gaal values Young seems unclear: he might have signed a new contract in the summer, but he's only started 11 league games this season, and he really could be commanding a starting spot in 16 of the 20 Premier League sides. It's time United acknowledged that he's not an unquestionable first team starter and sell him to a team who will give him the chance.
