Ashley Young has quite easily been one of Manchester United's worst players this season. He was abysmal in the embarrassing 4-1 defeat to Manchester City earlier in the campaign, hauled off after just 50 minutes, and has only played seven minutes of league football since, as a sub against Spurs. And quite rightly, too, for his poor form and penchant for diving makes him an unpopular figure among fans, even those in the home support. Having taken part in just five games all season, it would be a shock to see Young trot out in the red of United in the New Year, and it is widely expected he will be sold in January having failed to replicate the form he enjoyed at previous club Aston Villa.
