Manchester City vs Ajax - Match Preview & Team News

Venue: Etihad Stadium Date: Tuesday, 6 November Kick-off: 19:45 GMTCoverage: Live on ITV 1 Premier League champions Manchester City welcome Dutch side Ajax to the Eithad Stadium tonight as the two battle it out in the Champions League Group D game, which will be screened live on ITV 1 in the UK. Manchester City are currently bottom of Group D having only managed a point in their last three games. Ajax however are third and a win tonight could see them go five points clear of Man City. Roberto Mancini€™s side crashed out of the Champions League Group stages last year and despite impressive performances from the likes of Yaya Toure, David Silva and Sergio Aguero this campaign, the club could be facing a similar fate again. Group D or this year's €˜group of death€™ is made up of Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Ajax and Manchester City. The last time these two sides met was only 13 days ago which ended in Ajax sealing a 3-1 win in front of their home crowd.
