Being a 5' 9" basketball player, the odds have always been stacked against Isaiah Thomas. He was taken last in the draft and traded around the league with no one appreciating how talented he was.

That is until he was traded to the Boston Celtics, where he found the best form of his career and took the boys in green all the way to the conference finals, even while grieving for the sudden passing of his sister.

The league took notice of Thomas in Boston, and he was voted onto the all star team in 2016 and 2017.

Even after helping the Boston become relevant again, the Celtics shocked everyone by trading Thomas for Kyrie Irving (though it is a huge testament to the 60th pick being traded for the 1st pick of the same draft).

So starting this season Isaiah Thomas is on a new team, and has a serious hip injury to contend with. But as said before, there is no one more experienced or more suited to overcoming the odds; this is where Thomas thrives and playing with a chip on his shoulder will boost him to the starting spot for the East.
