Newcastle 2014-15 Season Review - Player Ratings

7. Moussa Sissoko - 5.5

Appearances (All Competitions): 36 (2) Minutes Played (Premier League): 3,032 Assists (All Competitions): 2 Goals (All Competitions): 5 Yellow Cards (Premier League): 7 Red Cards (Premier League): 2
A campaign very much of two halves for the Frenchman - the first he was magnificent at times, particularly during Newcastle's brilliant run and typified by his goal off the bench during the glorious 2-0 victory over Manchester City at the Etihad in the Capital One Cup. However, once Carver took charge it appeared as if Sissoko let his mind drift - and he was distant in just about every single match, until he popped up with a good display and a bullet header in the final game against West Ham United. The 25-year-old needs to dominate games with greater regularity, and show more consistency - because he can be devastating at his best.
