Newcastle United Monitoring Olympiakos Forward Kevin Mirallas
Alan Pardew wants to add the 24-year old Belgium international to his European chasing side next season.
Newcastle United are monitoring Olympiakos forward Kevin Mirallas and could made a transfer move in the summer for the player, according to reports in The Daily Mail. But if Alan Pardew wants to add the 24-year old Belgium international to his European chasing side next season he is going to have to top the £5 million offer that CSKA Moscow already placed and had rejected. Not only that but Stoke City are said to be chasing the forward with Tony Pulis looking to add more quality to his front line next season. 5"11 Mirallas, who is versatile and has played as striker, right wing forward and attacking midfielder, has played 50 times for Greek side Olympiakos and scored 28 goals since he moved there from Saint-tienne in 2010. His career started at fellow French side Lille during which time he picked up his first senior cap for Belgium in 2007, where his total now reads 24 times and hitting the back of the net four times. With Gabriel Obertan struggling with his end product on the right hand side for Newcastle since he moved from Manchester United last summer, Pardew has been looking for another option down the right next season.
