Despite failing to make a first team appearance so far this season there are big hopes for Karl Darlow at Newcastle United. The former Nottingham Forest man has already captained the Magpies' U21 side, which shows how highly thought of he is. The 24-year-old has simply been unlucky that Tim Krul has found some stunning form again after a terrible campaign by his own lofty standards last season. There are two reasons as to why we believe Darlow will feature: 1 - Because he was born in Northampton so would be facing his home town team on his full United debut (how romantic). 2 - Because the club's official website ran a feature on him possibly making his debut - so why wouldn't he?
