NFL: 5 Head Coaches On The Hot Seat In 2013

5. Jim Schwartz, Detroit Lions

The Lions head coach has been in control for four years and in 2011, he finally got Detroit to the postseason for the first time in 14 years. But in 2012, the Lions reverted back to their old ways of looking awful at 4-12, and it's raised a lot of concern surrounding Schwartz. Now, people are wondering if Schwartz is really fit to run a team full of potential and superstars that constantly underachieve. If Detroit makes the playoffs, Schwartz definitely keeps his job. If Detroit goes 8-8 or 9-7 and miss the playoffs, Schwartz probably still gets to stick around. But if they go 4-12 or 5-11 and look awful like they did in 2012, Schwartz is finding work as a defensive coordinator again.
