NFL Draft 2013: Full Mock Draft Of The First Round

No. 15: New Orleans Saints

Jarvis JonesThe pick: Jarvis Jones, LB, Georgia Sean Payton is back after a year-long suspension from "Bounty-gate" and a disappointing 7-9 season that saw New Orleans miss the postseason. The defense was absolutely dreadful, which is the reason why Steve Spagnuolo was relieved of his duties after one season and Rob Ryan was brought in. The first thing that Ryan and Payton wanted to do was switch from a 4-3 to a 3-4 defense and give it a new look. So with that 3-4 look, the best fit for that kind of style would be Jarvis Jones out of Georgia. Jones would give the Saints defense a true pass-rusher that it has lacked and give them some flexibility to line him up anywhere on the field. Just like Mingo, he can play both outside linebacker or line up at defensive end and use his speed to maneuver around offensive tackles.
