NFL Draft: 5 Sleepers Who Could Surprise Us All

nfl-draft-scene As all NFL fans know, there are many steal in the NFL draft every year. Some players fall through the cracks and become an impact player on their team immediately. However, some of them do not. For instance, Russell Wilson, Alfred Morris and Bobby Wagner all were non-first round picks last year, but outplayed almost all of the rookies at their positions. Even guys like Vontaze Burfict who was undrafted came in to the Bengals organization with a chip on his shoulder and became a star. So without further adieu, let's take a look at the top 5 sleepers who could surprise us all in the 2013 NFL Draft:

5. QB Matt Scott Arizona

Matt Scott is an interesting prospect. He took over the Arizona offense after Nick Foles was draft by the Eagles in the 2012 NFL Draft. He shows flashes of great arm strength with nice accuracy and touch. He is a mobile QB that has quick feet and can escape the pocket when it closes down. He has an extremely quick release which is vital in today's game. He also isn't afraid to zip it in to tight windows which makes him confident in his arm strength. The downside to his game is his size. Yeah on paper he may look like he has good size (6'2, 213 lbs) however, he possesses a lean frame that will get him in trouble in the NFL. Too many times did we see last season Matt Scott taking too many shots that almost got him killed. He is an incredible athlete with a great arm and good accuracy and can thrive in spread option system like Robert Griffin III, Colin Kaepernick, and occupationally what Russell Wilson runs. However, he needs to bulk up to absorb big hits. All in all I think Matt Scott can impress a lot of people if he is put in the right system. He will probably fall between the 3rd and 4th round.
