3. LB Kiko Alonso Oregon
Kiko Alonso was part of an Oregon defense that had it's ups and downs throughout the year. However, when you watch Alonso play all you see if a flying missile come across your screen. He shows the agile quickness you like in an NFL linebacker and has good strength and size to go with that (6'3, 240 lbs.) He did have some off the field issues early on in his college career, but it seems like he has gotten passed that by not having his name in the headlines this past year, which is a good thing. He was the 2011 Rose Bowl Defensive Player of the Game which he had 5 tackles, 2.5 for loss, 1 sack and an interception. Alonso will probably be around in the 3rd or 4th, but I wouldn't wait too long to pick him up if I was a general manager. Alonso isn't ready to take over and be the heart and soul of an NFL defense just yet, but if he can play next to a proven veteran in the middle of a 3-4 defense or an outside linebacker in a 4-3 he can be a day one starter and have an instant impact.
