NFL Draft: Top 10 Steals

1. LB Arthur Brown, Baltimore Ravens

Round 2, Pick 56 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZoRRPFnrWs I have to give credit to Ozzie Newsome with this pick. Arthur Brown was arguably the best inside linebacker in this draft. Many mock drafts had him going day 1 to the St. Louis Rams. Well somehow Brown fell in the second round and I'm sure the Baltimore Ravens didn't hesitate to grab him. I think the way the Ravens approached the first two rounds was very risky. They took Matt Elam with the last pick in the first round and I think everyone can agree that Brown is a better player overall than Elam is. So what many of us would think is that the Ravens would use their first round pick on Brown and their second on a safety, but it doesn't matter because they got their man in the second. What Brown brings to the table is versatility. He just seems to do everything right and it seems like he was made to wear a Ravens jersey. Brown has everything you want in a linebacker. He's strong, quick, instinctive, tough, gritty and a textbook tackler. He was the heart and soul of a very good Kansas State defense and will bring that to the NFL. He may lack height and will be considered undersized, but I don't see that stopping him from making an immediate impact on a Ravens defense that lost a lot of key pieces in the off-season. There's no doubt he is a day one starter and a future star on the Ravens defense.
