NFL Draft: Top 10 Steals

2. DE Damontre Moore, New York Giants

Round 3, Pick 81 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0KczkV9Xm4 Incredible value right here. Damontre Moore saw his draft stock take a huge nose dive after a dreadful combine. I love the scouting combine and I think he shows off a players athletic ability to see what they can do at the next level. However, as much as I enjoy watching it I also realize that he can be extremely overrated. Moore showed that he doesn't have good straight line speed nor a powerful upper body. Here's the thing about evaluating talent, it all starts and ends with tape. When you put on the game tape on a guy like Damontre Moore you have to ignore the combine results and go by what the guy did on film. Moore had 26.5 sacks in his three year career at Texas A&M. Not to mention the Moore had 12.5 sacks when Texas A&M was in the SEC this past season. Moore is extremely explosive off the edge and has a good motor to follow a relentless pass rush. Moore will play behind Justin Tuck and Jason Pierre-Paul this season, but the Giants just grabbed another incredible pass rusher in the third round.
