NFL Draft: Top 10 Steals

6. WR Keenan Allen, San Diego Chargers

Round 3, Pick 76 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EF0N9S_ZDg Keenan Allen somehow fell out of the first and second round and landed with the San Diego Chargers at pick 76. A big, physical wide receiver when good hands gives the Chargers and Phillip Rivers a nice addition to the struggling offense. I believe Rivers is still an elite quarterback, however, he has lost a lot weapons over the years and Allen will help him out tremendously. Allen isn't a home run threat, but he has great route running ability and can make the tough catches over the middle. He will be that wide receiver that will out jump the corner for the ball, just like Anquan Boldin used to do with the Baltimore Ravens. The reason why he fell so far in the draft was probably because of his 40 time. Allen is not a speedster since he clocked in the 4.70's which was a very poor showing. He'll have to run great routes and show great hands at the next level to make up for his poor straight line speed. With barley any play makers at receiver on the Chargers roster look for Allen make a huge impact. Allen should have a solid rookie season as it looks like he'll have a chance to grab a lot of playing time.
