NFL: Early Predictions For The NFC

Carolina Panthers

The Panthers were the best of a bad southern bunch in 2014. They started reasonably well before their mid-season collapse, and went on to finish very strongly indeed, winning their last four regular season games that included all three of their divisional rivals. In fact, the games in New Orleans and Atlanta also ended with 30 point winning margins, before beating the Cardinals in the playoffs and meeting their end against the Seahawks. Draft picks Shaq Thompson and Devin Funchess are risks but they should help the side who severely underachieved last time, with WR Kelvin Benjamin hoping to build on his personally impressive rookie season. They're not perfect, but they're the top dogs in the NFC South right now. 2015 Record: 9-7 (1st in NFC South)
