NFL Fantasy Football Draft: 10 Sleepers You Must Consider

8. RB Sleeper - Alfred Blue, Houston Texans (Yahoo Rank 1824, ESPN Rank 138)

Don€™t sweat the ridiculous Yahoo ranking. That will significantly jump in the next few weeks. Blue is the backup running back to incumbent Texans starter Arian Foster. In the weeks last season that Foster missed for various injuries, Blue performed admirably, including a 36-carr, 156 yard performance against the Cleveland Browns in Week 11 of the 2014 season. Blue isn€™t an incredible talent, but the Texans run blocking scheme is so good, even a decent player can get some good production. When Foster is out, Blue is a must-start. Well, news out of Texans camp is that Foster has re-injured his hamstring and may need surgery, missing the start of the season. And even if he comes back, he may be eased in. Free agent RB Pierre Thomas worked out with the Texans yesterday, but wasn't signed. Until somebody gets signed, this is Blue's backfield. Blue will pay immediate dividends for drafters savvy enough to stash him. Depending on how knowledgeable the people you€™re drafting against are, you could get Blue in the 12th or 13th round. Even snagging Blue in the 9th or 10th round would be a good idea, especially if the news on Foster is as bad as what€™s first being reported.
