Norwich City: 5 Reasons Chris Hughton Should Be Sacked

5. Current Form Offers Little To Be Encouraged By

There is no doubt that current form gives a pretty fair guide on things, and Norwich€™s has not been good. Even if we just look at the last six games only one win has come, and five points have been achieved over those games. It€™s fair to point out that Norwich don€™t currently have the worst form in the league with Hull, Cardiff, Newcastle, West Brom and Fulham all performing worse €“ but there is certainly cause for concern. On top of the poor form, there is also the fact that certain results are more costly than others based on where the teams are placed in the table. For example, losing away at Everton and drawing at home to Newcastle were certainly disappointments. However, both of those teams are currently in the top-half of the league table €“ so they don€™t have such a direct impact on the table for Norwich. The home win against Hull was encouraging, but the Canaries have now not won in their last four games with away defeats against relegation rivals Cardiff and West Ham being very much a worst case scenario. This has contributed to poor form as well as pulling the club a lot close to the relegation zone than they would have wanted, and puts a lot of pressure on the team to get results at home.
