Team News

Norwich could be without midfielder Bradley Johnson for the weekend visit of Reading after the midfielder picked up a dead leg in the defeat to Arsenal. Anthony Pilkington and Wes Hoolahan both return, however, after missing out in that game with minor knocks. John Ruddy is nearing match fitness after playing for the development squad following serious injury, however this game is likely to come too soon with Mark Bunn continuing in goal. Reading manager Nigel Adkins will be hoping Jimmy Kebe can play at least some part in the game. The winger missed the 0-0 draw with Liverpool due to a groin injury but has since resumed full training. Adam Federici and midfielder Hope Akpan are both out with ankle injuries, while Hal Robson-Kanu has only an outside chance of featuring.

Key Stats

Neither of these two sides have won any of their last six games. Norwich have drawn three and lost three of their last six outing. Reading have drawn one and lost five of their last six fixtures. Reading have lost just one of their last seven league meetings with Norwich City (W4 D2). Norwich have scored the highest percentage of headed goals in the top-flight (42%). (Sky Sports)
