NUFC Will Survive And Hull City Will Be Relegated Believes Harry Redknapp
The ex-Tottenham Hotspur and QPR boss cannot see Hull getting another win.
Former Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp cannot see Hull City picking up another win this season - and that's great news for Newcastle United, because that would almost certainly ensure the Magpies remain in the Premier League for another season. John Carver's men drew 1-1 against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday to pick up their first point since February 28th - but they remain just one place and two points above Hull, who are 18th. Burnley and QPR were both relegated over the weekend, and one of Hull, Newcastle, Sunderland, Leicester City and Aston Villa will join them in the Championship next season. Newcastle travel to QPR on Saturday before hosting West Ham United in their final game of the season, while Hull visit Tottenham Hotspur and then they face Manchester United at the KC Stadium. Redknapp "favours" Newcastle to get the better of West Ham, despite Sam Allardyce returning to his former stomping ground, but he cannot see Hull winning another match. Speaking to TalkSport on Monday, Redknapp explained his take on relegation battle:
"Can they (Hull City) win a game out of those two games? They couldnt beat Burnley at the weekend. "I'm sure Sam would like to go back (to St James Park) and get a result, having been there, but I still have to favour Newcastle. "Hull might pick up a point at Tottenham and they have got a record of beating the big clubs at Hull so its not impossible. It (Hull's Manchester United fixture) is the last game of the season - it's a massive game and it's not impossible for them to pull it off and its going to be an exciting last day for sure."For all the latest NUFC News, Views and Transfers make sure to follow WhatCultureNUFC on Twitter and Facebook.
