Harry Maguire is fairly new to the England setup, with just four senior caps to his name, all coming within the last year under Southgate. But what the Leicester City defender lacks in experience, he more than makes up for in potential and a history of solid performances.

Maguire is also one of the most in-form players Southgate has to pick from, coming off the back of a fantastic debut season for Leicester, earning both the Player of the Season award, and the Players' Player of the Season.

Whether he will start any games in Russia or come off the bench, Gareth Southgate can rely on a solid outing from Maguire every time. Against the Netherlands in March, the former Hull City man was called upon after just ten minutes, replacing the injured Joe Gomez, putting in one of the best performances of the night.
