After their miraculous title triumph and their flirtation with relegation, expect a season of mid-table mediocrity at Leicester. At last, the fans can breath easy.

Despite his best efforts to engineer a deadline day exit, Riyad Mahrez remains a Foxes player, but Danny Drinkwater was able to secure a move to Chelsea.

His departure is offset by some exciting buys. Kelechi Ihenacho and Harry Maguire are among the league’s best young players in their respective positions, and Vicente Iborra and Aleksander Dragovic have good European pedigree.

The wildcard is Craig Shakespeare, in his first full season as boss.
