Premier League: 10 Transfers That Could Still Happen Before The Window Shuts

6. Chelsea To Sign Kurt Zouma, £10 million

Chelsea have agreed terms with St Etienne's Kurt Zouma ahead of the centre-back's proposed £10 million move to the Premier League, according to the Metro. French source Le10Sport claims the Blues and Zouma have provisionally agreed a five-and-a-half-year deal, and all that remains is for the Londoners to thrash out the fee with Etienne. The move, should it go through, would bring to an end continued speculation linking the France U-21 international with a move to Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea chasing the 19-year-old for much of this window. Manager Jose Mourinho is on the look-out for a new centre-back this month to replace John Terry, who is nearing the end of his playing career. There are also concerns David Luiz could be tempted away with Barcelona preparing a £29 million bid, further emphasising the need for a new centre-half.
