Premier League: 10 Transfers That Could Still Happen Before The Window Shuts
5. Remy Cabella To Newcastle, £12.3 million
In spite of Montpellier's wacky president Louis Nicollin's claims Newcastle will have to cough up £86 million if they want to land Remy Cabella this month, the move is still expected to go through for a much-more reasonable £12.3 million. That's according to the midfielder's father, who says his son will move to St James' Park this winter and thereby ending his decade-long association with the Ligue 1 outfit. The attacker is a product of Montpellier's youth academy and joined in 2004, breaking into the first-team set-up in five years later, in 2009. But he has been linked with a move to the Magpies for much of this window as Alan Pardew sets out to sign yet another France-born star to add to his continental squad. Cabella could be brought in as a replacement for Yohan Cabaye, who has been tipped with a move to Paris Saint-Germain this month.
