Premier League 2017/18: Every Home Kit Ranked
8. Stoke City
Blue has never before been a feature of the Potter's ensemble since they first switched to candy cane stripes way back in 1908, though it did enter the club's crest for no apparent reason during 2001's rebranding. Add blue shorts to this new Stoke strip and you'd have a perfect Atletico Madrid outfit, as opposed to the cat-scratched phase-shifting puzzler they've instead plucked for.
The unintentional tricolor on the collar gives it a very pleasing '70s St. Etienne vibe, though I'm not anticipating Stoke dominating English football for the next decade or so. But is there really a world of difference between Michel Platini and Glenn Whelan?
