Manchester City's invincibility cloak was ripped from their back against Chelsea last time round, and Norwich will be hoping for a hangover from that defeat, as they need any help they can get to stave off relegation, and the threat of manager Chris Hughton's departure. Norwich's season has been teetering on the brink of crisis for some time, and typically they lie only two points above the safety line. They will not have earmarked the visit of Man City as a likely time of adding to their points tally, but a good performance could give fans hope for the season's remainder. Wes Hoolahan's shocking outburst did little to convince fans of the squad's harmony, but he will be unlikely to make the starting 11 anyway. As for Man City, well the equation is simple. If they win every game they will be champions. They certainly must take three points against Norwich to reassure supporters that the bandwagon rolls on, but Alvaro Negredo and Edin Dzeko must rediscover their scoring touch after the blanks they fired at home to Chelsea. One would assume this will happen, although the midfield will also have to show more zest than they did last Monday. Prediction - 2-1 Man City win.
