Premier League Predictions: Who Will Finish Bottom Half?

12th: Fulham

Even though they managed to get Berbatov for an absolute steal of a price, and even though he's repaid this faith so far with his goalscoring tally, it still seems that Fulham are struggling with consistency and discipline. The Cottagers have only kept a clean sheet four times in the league this year, and this is, at least partially, down to Brede Hangeland's 1 red and 1 yellow card, Chris Baird's five yellow cards, and Steve Sidwell's five yellow cards. Another damning statistic is that Fulham have conceded 3 or more goals 7 times this season already. Sidwell has arguably been Fulham's best player though, and his tally of four goals is already better than in previous seasons. Petric has also impressed since arriving on a free, managing to notch 5 goals as well, but, it's hard not to feel that they still miss Clint Dempsey, if only as a figure of leadership, experience and solidarity. I can't see them beating last season's 9th place finish, but 12th is definitely within their grasp, and is not to be sniffed at either.
