Premier League Review: 5 Talking Points From Saturday’s Matches

3. West Ham Have Sam Allardyce, They€™re Going To Be Fine

Eyebrows were raised when West Ham turned to Sam Allardyce to get them into the Premier League, often criticised for his simple style of football many a West Ham fan would admit that they didn€™t want him there. However it can be said that Allardyce was shrewd business by the West Ham owners, which isn€™t something you hear very often. Though scraping through to the Premier League; it€™s safe to say that now they are here they are possibly the strongest of the promoted clubs when it comes to staying in the division due to Allardyce€™s canny ability to establish teams in the Premier League. He may not enjoy being labelled as the journey man who can help establish a team before being shipped out for someone more progressive; but the fact he has a talent for it makes him the best man for the West Ham job.
