Premier League Transfers: 10 Ligue 1 Players England Needs
4. Nabil Fekir - Lyon
Nabil Fekir was the breakthrough player in Ligue 1 last season, being part of Hubert Fournier's young Lyon side whom finished 2nd, thus qualifying automatically for next season's Champions League. Fekir, like Beauvue, began the season as an unknown quantity to most of those in France, as well as nearly all of England, but contributed to Lyon's title challenge with 9 goals, as well as 13 assists, with only Dimitri Payet and Javier Pastore setting up more goals in Ligue 1. Perhaps the 21-year-old is still a bit raw to make the transition to the Premier League, but he is an outstanding young talent who is only going to get better. Signing for a top club like Manchester City or Arsenal and sitting on the bench would be a bad career move, so perhaps staying put at l'OL and gaining Champions League experience is the best option right now, but he'd be great in the Premier League someday.
