Premier League Transfers: 10 Ligue 1 Players England Needs

3. Edinson Cavani - PSG

Edison Cavani, one of the deadliest strikers in the world, has been played in the left-wing position ever since he joined PSG for £55 million in July 2013. Despite not playing in his natural position, the Uruguayan still managed to score 18 goals in Ligue 1, but was again overshadowed by his enigmatic teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who scored 19. Cavani has surely had enough of being in the shadow of the Swede, and with reported interest from from Liverpool, the 28-year-old may be looking for an escape route from Paris. Cavani's strength and power would be the perfect fit for the English game, but his price tag of about £40 million could prove a stumbling block.
