Newcastle United's first ever third kit was, in the words of Hear'say, as pure and simple as they come. This was the first time any United shirt featured any form of blueness, the colour which has become the club's unofficial third hue over the years. Although, some are now cursing this fact when looking at the plight of the new home shirt and all the blue on there in the form of lines and the hideous flap at the bottom of the rear.
