2. Manchester United v Porto (15/04/2009)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NksLn_VUjlI After a troublesome first leg, which saw the Manchester side draw 2-2 at home, United were in danger of going out of the Champions League. However, like all great players, Ronaldo dug his side out of the hole they found themselves scoring one of the greatest Champions League goals of all time in the process. Uniteds number 7 found himself in possession of the ball 40 yards from goal and there appeared to be no danger. In an instant however Ronaldo had let rip and powered the ball past a flaying Helton, out of nothing he had produced the extraordinary. The goal summed up how devastating Ronaldo can be, even when it appears as though there is no danger, the Portuguese star can find the net.
