Spurs News: Andre Villas-Boas Could Be Sacked By End Of December?

Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas could be sacked by the end of the month - if results don't start improving, according to the London Evening Standard. Villas-Boas has been given seven more games to convince the Spurs board that he is the right man to take the club forward, with December's fixtures set to be pivotal to his reign at White Hart Lane. This month sees the underfire boss and his Tottenham team take on Sunderland this weekend, followed by Anzhi Makhachkala in the Europa League, and Liverpool, West Ham, Southampton, West Brom and Stoke in the Premier League. And if those games do not go the Lilywhite's way, Villas-Boas could find himself sacked from a second London-based side in just over a year-and-a-half. The Portuguese was dismissed by Chelsea in March last year and could find his current employers in a similarly-impatient mood this winter, too. Spurs came from behind to beat Fulham 2-1 on Wednesday night but that win was only their first in the league since October, while last month's 6-0 demolition by Man City has also left AVB on the brink. The Tottenham board are understood to have told Villas-Boas that they have not met with other managers or considered replacements, but that they expect to see an improvement in results this month.
