How ironic would it be if Roberto Di Matteo succeeded from Andre Villas-Boas at White Hart Lane? The former Chelsea boss certainly has previous for it. When AVB was dismissed by Chelsea in March 2012, it was Di Matteo who took his place in the hotseat on an 'interim' basis having previously worked under the Portuguese as an assistant. And the Italian could be about to snatch another job away from Villas-Boas, with Stan James giving him an outside chance for the Tottenham job
with odds of 16/1. Di Matteo hasn't worked since being dismissed by Chelsea himself in November last year, despite guiding the Blues to FA Cup and Champions League glory, and is currently available for work. Fans may not take to him however considering he used to play for their London rivals Chelsea.
