Spurs Next Manager: 5 Managerial Replacements For Andre Villas-Boas

4. Roberto Mancini

Could Roberto Mancini be about to make a return to England? The Italian was sacked by Manchester City at the end of last season for failing to defend the Premier League title and then blowing it in the FA Cup Final with an embarrassing defeat to Wigan, who were later relegated. The former Inter Milan boss then moved abroad and took a job at Turkish giants Galatasaray, but is on the rack again as his side lost their crunch Istanbul derby to fierce rivals Fenerbahce 2-0. And if things don't work out for Mancini at Gala, he could always have another crack of the whip in the Premier League - he certainly has the credentials for it at least, helping to transform City into the powerhouse they are today during those first few transitional years of takeover. He knows how to get a side into the top four - and keep them there - and could even transform Spurs into title contenders - if AVB is given the boot.
