Spurs Transfer News: Inter Milan Want Sandro

Tottenham Hotspur's Brazilian midfielder Sandro is reportedly a January transfer target for Italian giants Inter Milan. "The Beast", as he is affectionately known by the White Hart Lane faithul due to his tenacious and physical style of play, has found playing time hard to come by this season following an injury suffered in January - though he did start a Premier League game for the first time since his injury at Villa Park last Sunday. The San Siro outfit are said to be readying a £6 million bid for Sandro - although whether that would even come close to Tottenham's valuation remains to be seen - and will be monitoring his situation until the transfer window opens. There seems to be no real reason why the ever-reliable midfielder won't regain his place in the Lilywhites' starting eleven but, if he can't hold down his spot, he may look to force a move if there is genuine interest from Inter - particularly with the World Cup in his home country happening next year. Spurs completed the signing of Sandro in March of 2010 from Brazilian club and Spurs' affiliate Internacional but, given that the fee was around the £6m mark even then, Inter's potential bid for the same sum of money seems unlikely to tempt a sale. Do you think that Sandro should be looking for a move away from White Hart Lane? Would Inter Milan be a good potential destination for him? Let us know in the comments box below.
