Spurs Transfers: 10 DREAM Signings Tim Sherwood Could Make

Tottenham fans will be peering anxiously over their shoulders this morning after watching their side get decimated for the second time this season by Manchester City. City routed Spurs at White Hart Lane on Wednesday night in a comprehensive 5-1 win that sends them top of the Premier League and leaves the Londoners in a less comfortable fifth place. Tottenham are now three points adrift of fourth-placed Liverpool and only a point above sixth-placed Everton with their Champions League hopes starting to waver. Spurs can point to some fairly horrendous decisions from the referee and his linesman in that Michael Dawson saw a perfectly good goal disallowed and Danny Rose sent off despite winning the ball. But before that they were picked apart by City with too much ease and look as far away from title contenders as they have done in years. Tim Sherwood's side have lost 3-0 and 5-0 in their own backyard this season to West Ham and Liverpool and the £100 million outlay by predecessor Andre Villas-Boas hasn't paid dividends. With the transfer window now closing until 23:00 GMT on Friday, however, there may be time yet for Sherwood to strengthen his side and boost their top four hopes. And here we take a look at 10 DREAM Signings Tim Sherwood Could Make.
