Spurs Transfers: 5 Players They Must Sign

4. Ryan Sessegnon (Fulham)

If you believe media outlets such as The Metro, Ryan Sessegnon is nailed-on to swap Craven Cottage for the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer. And if that move does indeed happen, it would be a great bit of business for Spurs.

Currently, it looks as if Danny Rose is destined to bring his time at Spurs to an end before the transfer window closes - as per The Sun - which would then leave Ben Davies as Mauricio Pochettino's only recognised senior left-back.

After a white-hot season in Fulham's 2017/2018 Championship campaign, Sessegnon undoubtedly struggled in his first year of Premier League action last season, yet the versatile left-sided player showed glimpses of his quality. You also have to remember, of course, this is a player who only actually turned 19 this past May.

Should Sessegnon indeed make the move from Fulham to Spurs, it would give the England Under 21 international a chance to work under Pochettino while being allowed to develop his game as part of a talented Spurs squad in which he wouldn't have the pressure of having to carry the team's hopes of success on his shoulders - as was so often the case last season for Sessegnon at Fulham.
