Spurs Transfers: 7 Signings To Secure Champions League Football

7. Saido Berahino (West Brom)

West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis will have put Spurs on high alert when he recently admitted that every one of his players are for sale €œif the price is right€. One Baggie in particular has been on Pochettino€™s radar since pre-season: Saido Berahino. Tottenham had no fewer than four bids for the striker rebuffed over the summer, and West Brom€™s decision to reject them did not go down well with Berahino, who has since fallen down the pecking order at The Hawthorns after clashing with club chairman Jeremy Peace. The 22-year-old, who has spent much of this season warming the bench, looks set for a January exit, and Spurs could be his next employer if the North London outfit are willing to stump up the £20 million-plus that Peace is believed to be holding out for. With Kane firing on all cylinders, adding Berahino to his squad would give Pochettino a strikeforce to rival any other in the top flight - especially if the England Under-21 international can replicate last season€™s form - as well as provide cover for his prized asset.
