3. Two Teams In Good Form
Both teams come into this game in pretty good form with Palace undefeated in their last three having beaten Newcastle and Southampton either side of a 1-1 draw with Everton. Stoke, on the other hand, have only lost once in their last six league games, the 2-0 loss against Sunderland conceding both goals after Ryan Shawcross was sent off. Stoke currently sit in eleventh while Palace are up in sixth but there is only three points between the two sides so Stoke have a great opportunity to put themselves in the mix for the European places. Palace will be looking to cement their place in the top six while casting a watchful eye at the Southampton v Spurs and Manchester United v Norwich games where, if results went their way, could see Palace enter the top four as we move into the busy Christmas period
