The greatest nickname in MMA history belongs to Wanderlei Silva. His nickname was given to him early in his career because of his violent fighting style. Many men who fought him came out of the fight looking like they took an ax to the face, Patrick Bateman style. He lived up to his nickname when he entered Pride. From 1999 to 2004, Silva won eighteen straight fights. Nearly everyone of his opponents resembled hamburger meat. To this day, Wanderlei is the only man in history to ever completely knocked out "Rampage" Jackson. Rampage looked like a murder victim hanging unconscious on the ropes with his blood dripping off Silva's knee. But like all great men, they eventually fall. Even though Wanderlei has fallen he has still produced a few violent knockouts in the twilight of his career. Just watch his 36 second knockout of Keith Jardine.
