This is extremely unlikely, but it is a fight which could produce an excellent narrative, just like the Froch v Groves affair which has now come to an end. Eubank Jr is developing quite a name for himself in the middleweight division having recently taken his record to 15-0 with 10 KO victories. Eubank is also building quite a reputation for trash-talking, willingly aided by his father, the former world champion, Chris Eubank Sr. The younger of the two recently claimed he had never heard of current British and Commonwealth middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders. His Dad helpfully chimed in by saying the only fighter that could beat his son is super middleweight world champion Andre Ward. Eubank Jr is clearly not at world level yet, he has not even fought for a domestic title. However, if he and his unpredictable father were to start making a lot of noise about getting a shot at Froch, then the champion may just be tempted to put them in their place. It would create a lot of interest in Britain and would sell a lot of tickets in any major city in the country. As mentioned, it is very unlikely at this stage, but it could prove to be a very interesting storyline, reminiscent of Groves, if it were to come to pass.
