Lampard showed just why he still has it with an incredible free kick against Hull on Sunday. It was a typical Frank Lampard strike; powerful, accurate, and dangerous. We've seen Lampard score so many free-kicks in the past, but considering the sheer distance from goal, this one has to be up there with some of his best. Hull's goalkeeper Allan McGregor was criticised for not getting a strong hand on the ball, and while some goalkeepers may have done better, nothing can be taken away from Lampard's strike. There were several other goals from the opening week that deserve recognition, including Daniel Sturridge's goal against Stoke, Van Persie's second against Swansea, and Yaya Toure's excellent free kick against Newcastle, but for me, these 5 were the best.
