9. Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDbZ8ENf_dg In what is surely one of the most famous scenes in the MMA community, Rampage Jackson was arrested in 2008. Jackson was charged with one count of evading police while driving recklessly, one count of evading police and driving against traffic, three misdemeanour counts of hit and run with property damage and one misdemeanor count of reckless driving when he nearly hit several pedestrians. As many of you will remember, Jackson recreated the famous OJ Simpson car chase in California with his Ford F-350. During the chase, Rampage lost one of his tires but continued to drive on just three wheels. When he eventually stopped, armed police surrounded the car and apprehended him. One of the women who was involved in the hit and run incidents was Holli Griggs. Rampage hit her car from behind during the getaway and she alleged that he caused the stillbirth of her child due to her abdomen impacting against the steering wheel. She requested $25,000 for damages during her lawsuit against the former UFC light heavyweight champ. If my baby passed away from a hit and run, I would personally be demanding a lot more than $25,000. The emotional distress alone would be double that at least. After reviewing the medical records and speaking to the victim's physician, the court ruled that the loss of the foetus was not related to the crash in any way. In May 2010, Griggs dismissed her lawsuit against Jackson and it is unclear if it was settled out of court.
